Dear Diary,
Inspired the fathers that came before me, and the ones that father with me. Diary of a Mad Black Dad is a collection of my thoughts, feelings, and perspective on living life as a young black husband, father, and educator.

I am mad because there are lessons I did not learn before becoming a husband and father. I am mad because there are lessons I ignored as a child. I am mad because racism could kill me, my wife, or my son. I’m not cynical, jaded, or discouraged, if anything, I am hopeful. As a black man, I want to support other black men and women. As an educator it is my passion to give young black and boys and girls the support they need to survive and ultimately thrive. Read, share, comment, and stay mad.
