Things I am Grateful for by Donte Gibbs

I am grateful for life and my health. If there’s one thing the pandemic has taught us is that the world can change in the blink of an eye, YOUR world can change in a blink of an eye. Things I’m grateful for:

•Family: our get togethers, traditions, support.

•Friends: the laughs, the support, the encouragement, the occasional “being checked,” the venting, the support again!

•Employment: new job in the midst of a pandemic.

•Home: homeownership ain’t no joke, but I’m grateful I accomplished this goal as intended.

•Grateful for the things that seem small: clean water, technology (my phone/WiFi), a yard with grass, all my body parts work, artists who make the world brighter, and advocates who make the world fairer (more fair? Idk lol).

Lastly but most importantly, Im grateful for God’s protection and mercy 🙏🏾‼️
